Like others, she was born into nothing

Unlike others she couldn’t accept waiting

For a man to marry her with a shilling

Out of one level into another of povertying

So, she left home with nothing,

No place to stay, no job offering.

Against her many friends turned

Even relatives did not look her side

Just like many others

But unlike many others

She couldn’t be lured into commercial sex

Her focus was on God and her goals

To make life better for others

With a lot of prayer, perseverance and patience

Out of nothing, she became.
